What is Usui Reiki
Usui Reiki has been around for centuries and there are various forms and methods used by many people, cultures and civilisations.
At present this treatment is not a medically recognised treatment within the UK but is gradually getting fast recognition from UK medical practitioners as a treatment to provide or recommend to their patients.
Usui Reiki was initially named by a gentleman named Mikhail Usui. But is a practice that goes back a lot further. Master Usui's knowledge of Reiki began after his quest to find answers for a student who asked the simple question whether he believed in the healing miracles of Jesus, for which he couldn’t answer. His full story is both remarkable and enlightening and is taught when being initiated in to the Reiki journey.
Over the years Reiki has become more westernised, and therefore more widespread, although still a lot of people haven’t actually heard of it.
Treatments
Reiki is a treatment that many will go to for the following reasons:
- brings about deep relaxation
- relieves pain
- detoxifies the body
- dissolves energy blockages
The treatment lasts approximately 30 minutes to 45 minutes, and many people come away feeling refreshed, surprised at the experience they had whilst having the treatment, and how they feel physically after.
Training
If you are interested in training in Usui Reiki or Energy Healing, then training can be offered and is usually taught over three levels.
Level 1 is Self Healing and becoming attuned to the first symbol of Reiki - £120.00
Level 2 is Practitioner level, where you can train to be able to offer treatments to the general public wanting a treatment. £160.00
Level 3 is Master level and is dependent on how well you understand Reiki, and whether you are ready yourself to become a teacher in Reiki further details of this is available on request.
